I posted a couple of weeks ago about the drunken PDA with the plumber. He's text me a few times since but I wasn't really 'feeling it'.
Today, I got a text:
"This is Mark's girlfriend. Not sure if he told you about me and his two month old baby. Found texts on his phone from this number. Just need to know one thing, has he cheated on me with you?"
WHAT??!!
So I did what I think was the right thing, and replied, saying that I met him the other week, we swapped numbers and text a few time, and that I had no idea about her, otherwise I wouldn't have had anything to do with him. She asked if he pulled me. Again, I figured I should be honest, and told her that we kissed in town, before going our separate ways. She was ok about it, upset at him obviously, but thanked me for answering her questions. I wished her good luck, whatever she decides to do.
I could have denied all, and let him off the hook somewhat, but it's not my place to try and save their relationship. I gave her the truth and it's up to her what she does with that. I feel bad for her. Luckily, he was just a drunken pub snog to me, but to her, he's the father of her child. She must be gutted.
Mmm, finding out about girlfriends and children...deja vu.
